A RESOLUiON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI.. DETERMI~ING THAT A CERTAIN PUBLIC
STREET AN SLOPE E~EMENTS SHOULD BE ABANDONED
AND ESTABJSHING CONDITIONS PRECEDENT TO SAID
ABANDONM T.

WHEREAS, tne City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed I'oder the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941 (Sectio. 8300 et seg., Streets and Highways Code) in
connection with reg ests for vacation and abandonment of public
streets within thelty of Anaheim: and
WHEREAS, ~he City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, givelnotice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described publi~ street: to wit, a portion of Santa Ana Canyon
Road (hereinafter R$treetR) more specifically described as follows:
Those certain tortions of the Santa Ana Canyon Road
and adjacent sope easements located generally:
(a)
along the north side of Santa Ana Canyon Road
from Weir Canyon R~ad to a point approximately
2000 feet westerly thereof:
along the!north side of Santa Ana Canyon Road
from weirtCanyon Road to a point approximately
800 feet ,asterly thereof:
along thef$outh side of Santa Ana Canyon Road
from a PO!~t along the east line of the south-
erly prol ftgation of Weir Canyon Road to a
point app~ximately 300 feet easterly thereof:

WHEREAS, Qm the 8th day of January, 1980, a public hear-
ing was held to al14_ interested persons to submit evidence concern-
ing said proposed aijandonment: and

WHEREAS, ~he City Council of the City of Anaheim does find
from the evidence s~~mitted to it that said Street is unnecessary
for present or prosjective pl.lblic use: and
WHEREAS, ~he City Council has further determined that
certain conditions ~~st be met prior to making of an order vacating
and abandoning said!$treet.
NOW, THER$rORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheimldoes determine that said Street should be aban-
doned and vacated s~bject to the following conditions:

Dedipation of sufficient right of way for
real~gnment of Santa Ana Canyon Road.
Relop8. tion and construction of Santa Ana
Canypn Road.
BE IT FU~' ER RESOLVED that should the conditions set
forth in the preced..1'19 paragraph be fulfilled within one hundred
eighty (180) days 0 . the date of this Resolution, the City Council
will make its orderivacating and abandoning said Street.

further time as the City Council may grant, then this Resolution
