A RESOLUTiON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC
CONVENIEN E AND NEOESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUC-
TION AND OMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO
WIT:
WEST STREiT STREET IMPROVEMENT, WIS FROM"
SOUTH STR ET TO HAMPSHIRE STREET, IN THE "
CITY OF A AHEIM, ACCOUNT NO. 47-792-6325-2560.
APPROVING,ITHE DESI'.NS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAWINGS
AND SPECI ICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF;
AUTHORIZIG THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID PUBLIC
IMPROVEME f IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS, SPECI-
FICATIONS! ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY LERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PR POSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, ~ub11c convenience and necessity require the
construction and co$JPletion of a pUblic improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit::
West Stre,t street improvement, Wls from South
Street tOiHampshire Street, in the City of
Anaheim, tonsisting of clearing and grubbing;
excavatio*; construction of P.C.C. curb, gutter,
sidewalk,;access ramps and drive approaches;
and all aiPurtenant work as shown on the plans
and delin ated in the specifications on file
in the Of ice of the City Engineer, Account
No. 47-79 -6325-2560.

submitted the same !to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, ithe City Council finds that said detailed
designs, plans, prrlfiles, drawings and specifications for said
pUblic improvementlabove mentioned, are in accordance with good
engineering practi~e and are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of th~ City of Anaheim and the citizens and
residents in said ~rea for the purposes for which they are
intended, and that !they are adequate for the construction of
said pUblic improv~ment and should be approved.

publish a notice a~cording to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of ~ll plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment, and all!utilities and transportation, including power,
- fuel and water, an4 performing all work necessary to construct
and complete, in algood and workmanlike manner, in strict
accordance with sa~d detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings
and specifications las prepared by said Public Works

mentioned and descibed, in accordance with the plans and
