A RESOLUiON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE M APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY
OF ANAHE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN OVER-
CROSSING !AT THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY AND ANAHEIM
BOULEVAR!VHASTER STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR ANd CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, (the State of' Calif'ornia contemplates building
a two-way overcrosJ' ng at Anaheim Boulevard/Haster Street to re-
place the eXistingouthbound Anaheim Overcrossing and modifying
freeway ramps in t " vicinity; and
WHEREAS, ~he California Highway Commission on August 23,
1961, approved a polLicy that for any additional crossing of' a free-
way by a local road~ the local agency will bear the normal construc-
tion costs which woUld be required f'or the local roadways as if the
freeway were not in existence and the cost of' the right-of-way
necessary for the crossing; and .
WHEREAS, ~he City of' Anaheim and the State of Calif'ornia
have previously enttred into an agreement (Document No. ORA-30-
1395) covering righ't-of-way acquisition; and
WHEREAS, $tate and City desire to build anovercrossing
roadway along Anaheim Boulevard/Haster Street; and
WHEREAS, $tate and City desire to build a storm drain
along said street; 4md
WHEREAS, ,~ Cooperative Agreement has been prepared, the
terms and conditions of' which are satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of a Cooperat 'e Agreement with the State ,of Calif'ornia for
the construction of i n overcrossing at the Santa Ana Freeway and
Anaheim Boulevard/H~ter Street be, and the same are hereby,
approved.

BE IT FUR'IflER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are' hereby ~L., ,authorized to execute said agreement on behalf
of the City of Anah~m.
