TO ACT FOR THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
$CTION WITH SMALL CLAIMS ACTIORS~
IRSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 78R-163.
WHERE~' the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find and de ermine that it is necessary in the normal
course of busines in the City of Anaheim to instigate,
prosecute, and c nsummate litigation involving small amounts,
the jurisdiction IQf which is vested in the Small Claims Court,
being amounts of !less than $750.00~ and
WHEREA!" it is deemed by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim hat certain City employees should be author-
ized to act in t e City's behalf in connection with small
claims actions. :
NOW, ~.REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of A~aheim that the following named persons, to
wit: :
Utilities Credit Supervisor
Senior Customer Service Representative
Safety and Training Coordinator
Electrical Line General Supervisor
Water - General Supervisor
License Collector
License Inspector
Senior Accountant
Accounts Receivable Collection
Representative
be, and the samei',re hereby, authorized to commence, prosecute,
and consummate sll claims litigation for, in behalf of, and
in the name of t City of Anaheim, and that they, and each of
them, are author 'zed to file small claims petitions, to appear
at small claims arings, to represent the City, and to file
satisfaction of j~dgment in small claims actions, and to do any
and all other thlbgs necessary and convenient in the processing
of small claims ~tions.
