RESOLU ~ON OF TEE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CI t OF ANAJIlEIM, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZI G THE INVITATION OF PROPOSALS
FOR T PURCHA$E OF $7,350,000
WATER E BONDS OF SAID CITY
WHEREAS, ~4is City Council deems it proper and
the necessity there~~r appears that proposals be invited
for the purchase of $7,350,OGO principal amount of Water
Revenue Bonds, 1980 !Series, of the City of Anaheim, and
that said Bonds be ~ld in the manner and at the time
and place hereinaft~# set forth:
NOW, '1'HE~ORE, the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, California,1 DOES BEUBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER as ~ollows:
Section 1., Sealed proposals for the purchase
of the Bonds .ha~~ q. received by the City at the time
and place hereinaft.r set forth in the Notice of Sale.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized
~ and directed to pub~~sh a Notice of Sale, substantially
in the form annexed Aereto, marked. "Exhibit A", and hereby

approved by this City Council, by one insertion in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation
published in the Ci~y of Anaheim, said publication to
be at least 15 days prior to the date of receiving pro-
posals stated there~n.
Section 3~ The City Clerk is further authorized
and directed to pub~ish a Notice of Intention to Sell
Bonds, substantiallt in the form annexed hereto, marked
"Exhibit B", and heteby approved by this City Council, by
one insertion in ~1DailY Bcnd Buyer, a financial publi-
cation generally ci*~ulated throughout California, said
publication to be at least 15 days prior to the date of
receiving proposals stated therein, as required by
Section 53692 of th. Government Code.
Section 4~ This City Council hereby approves the
Preliminary Officia~ Statement and the form of Resolution
No. 80R-66 (the "..solution"), both substantially in the
form now in the han4. of the City Clerk, to be furnished
to prospective bidd,rs for the Bonds, as provided in
Section 5 hereof, c~pies of which have been presented to
,~, this City Council, and directs the City Clerk to file said
copies in her offic" and to identify them as being the
Preliminary Officia+ Statement and the proposed Resolution,

so approved hereby, by an endorsement thereon to that effect
over her signature.

Section 5. The' City Clerk is authorized and
directed to cause t~ be furnished to prospective bidders,
upon their request, ~ reasonable number of copies of
the Notice of Sale, the Official Form of Proposal, the
Preliminary Officia! Statement and the proposed Resolution,
substantially in the forms hereinabove approved. The City
Clerk is further authorized and directed, after any pro-
posal for the purch.~e of said Bonds has been accepted by
this City Council, .nd after the final Official Statement
and the Resolution ..ve been adopted, to cause to be
furnished to the su~cessful bidder~ for use in connection
with the resale of ,.id Bonds, such numbers of copies of

the final Official Statement as may be required tQ comply
with the provisions of the Notice of Sale.
