AGREEMENT BEMEN THE Ai~AHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

PROPERTY IN IDEVELOP}ttNT PROJECT ALPHA.
WHEREAS, the 4l1laheim R~development Agency (the "Agency")
has prepared an Initial Study of the environmental impact of the
proposed Disposition an4 Develop~ent Agreement (the "Agreement")
between the Agency and Masonic B~ilding Association of Anaheim
("Developer"); and
WHEREAS, the City Counqil of the City of Anaheim (the
"City Council") has rev:ij.ewed and considered the Initial Study, the
Final Environmental Impact Re~or~ for Redevelopment Project Alpha
(the "Project"), and the Final Sqbsequent Environmental Impact
Report for the Second Amendment do the Project; and
WHEREAS, the 4gency has found on the basis of the Initial
Study that the environm~tal imp~ct of the proposed Agreement is
essentially the same as those in the previous Environmental Impact
Reports; and that there is no additional information or data avail-
able requiring supplementation of the previous Environmental Impact
Reports; and
WHEREAS, said Initial Study conforms to the requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (Public Resources
Code, Section 21000 et Sieq.) , the "Guidelines for the Implementation
of the California Envirartmental Quality Act of 1970", as amended,
adopted by the Secretary for Resources of the State of California,
and the Procedures for Implementation of the California Environmental
Quality Act of 1970 adopted by resolution of the Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follOWs:
The City Council hereby finds and determines that:

(a) Neither the approval nor the implementation of the
proposed Agree~ent will cause substantial changes in
the Redevelop~bt Project, or with respect to the
circumstances !Under which the Project is to be under-
taken, which will require major revisions in the
Environmental Impact Reports previously adopted for
the Project due to the involvement of new environ-
mental impacts not covered in said previous Environ-
mental Impact Reports;

(b) The Initial Study is approved and no Subsequent
Environmental tmpact R~port for Supplement to an
Environmental Impact Report is necessary or
required; and

(c) The proposed action will have no significant
effect on the environment, except as identified
and considere4 in the previous Environmental
Impact Reports.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the Cit1 of Anah~im this 5th day of February, 1980.
