A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING SECTION 2.01 OF RESOLUTION NO.
2004-1 RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF CITY COUNCIL
MEETINGS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has heretofore adopted
Resolution No.2004-1 which amended and restated in their entirety the procedures and rules of order
for the conduct of City Council meetings, business and proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to further amend said procedures and rules as
hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT' RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that Section 2.01 of the Procedures and Rules of Order for the Conduct of City Council
Meetings as heretofore adopted by, and set forth in, City Council Resolution No. 2004-1 be, and the
same is hereby, amended in its entirety to read as follows:
"2.01 Order of Business. The business of the Council, at its regular meetings, shall be
conducted in accordance with the following order unless (i) otherwise directed by the Mayor without
express objection by any member of the City Council, or (ii) approved by a 2/3 vote of the City
Council:
A. Call to order
B. City Council workshops (if any)
C. Additions or deletions to closed session agenda (if any)
D. Public comments on closed session items, if any (for all City Council and other city-
related agency items)
E. Closed session
F. Invocation and Flag salute
G. Presentations and Recognitions
H. Reconvene other city-related agencies meeting on such date in joint session
with the City Council, if any
I. Additions or deletions to the public agendas, if any (for all agencies)

J. Public comments on agenda items or matters within the jurisdiction of City Council
or any other agency then in joint session, if any (except on public hearing items)
K. Recess for meetings of other agencies (if any)
L. Reconvene City Council meeting
M. Consent calendar
N. Other departmental business
O. Public hearings (if any)
P. Report on closed session actions (if required)
Q. Council communications
R. Adjournment"
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as expressly amended herein, City
Council Resolution No. 2004-1 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 8th day of March, 2005, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Chavez, Galloway
NOES: Hernandez , Sidhu
