RESOLUTION NO. 80R-53
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 156, EXHIBIT "B."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, adopted a General plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of January, 1980, the
City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a
public hearing to consider a General plan Amendment. The
General plan Amendment does consider changing the land use
designation for the irregularly-shaped area of land consist-
ing of approximately eight acres located immediately north
of the Santa Ana Freeway on-ramp from Ball Road and extending
north on both sides of Citron Street to Vermont Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC80-11 contain-
ing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that said
~mendment to the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 156
be adopted by the City Council, changing the land use
designation for the aforedescribed area to "Residential--
Medium Density" in accordance with Exhibit "B;" and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary
of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 5th
day of February, 1980, as the time, and the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall as the place for a public hearing
on said proposed ffinendment No. 156 and did give notice there-
of in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and
conduct such public hearing and did give all persons inter-
ested therein an opportunity to be heard, and did receive
evidence and reports and did consider the recommendations of
the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 156 changing the land use designation in
the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "B" on
file with the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 156 to the General
plan changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed
area to "Residential--Medium Density" in accordance with
Exhibit "B" on file with the City be, and the same is hereby,
approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General plan
Map to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 156 as herein
adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of
February, 1980.
