A RESOLUI'ION OF 'IHE CI'lY COUNCIL OF THE CI'lY
OF ANAHEIM AUI'HORIZING FILING OF AN
APPLICATICN FOR PARrICIPATIOO IN THE rnFERRED
PAYMENT LOAN PROGRAM WITH '!HE DEPAR'n1ENT OF
HOUSING AND COM1UNI'lY DEVELOPMENT OF 'IHE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has many residential
structures in need of rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has enacted Chapter 6.5
of the Health and Safety Code, COIlllEIlCing at Section 50660, which
authorizes a program of housing rehabilitation with repaynents by
housing owners deferred for specified periods; and
vlliEREAS, the City of Anaheim has caused an application
for participation in said program to be prepared.
NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT F1JR'IHER RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby approve the filing of
said application with the Depart:m2nt of Housing and Conm.nri.ty
Development of the State of California.
BE IT FUR1HER RESOLVED that the Mlyor be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to sign said application on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
'IHE FOREGOING RESOLUI'ION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of
February, 1980
