RESOLUTION NO. 80R-70
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A PORTION OF HERMOSA DRIVE, NORTH OF
LA PALMA AVENUE, WEST OF WEST STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly posted and published, give notice of its in-
tention to vacate and abandon the public street or alley herein-
after described; and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of February, 1980, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, that the public street or
alley hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for pres-
ent or prospective public street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of a portion of Hermosa Drive, north of La Palma Avenue,
more specifically described as follows:
That portion of dedicated public roadway, commonly
known as Hermosa Drive, located in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning in the southeast corner of Lot 26 in
Tract No. 1691, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 52, pages 18 and 19, Miscellaneous Maps, rec-
ords of Orange County; thence N 00 10' 43" E,
26.82 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
southwesterly and having a radius of 48.00 feet;
thence Northwesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 380 17' 03" an arc distance of
32.07 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve
concave southeasterly and having a radius of
45.00 feet; thence Northwesterly, Northerly, North-
easterly and Easterly along said reverse curve
through a central angle of 1440 39' 00" an arc
distance of 113.61 feet to the beginning of a re-
verse curve concave northerly and having a radius
of 40.00 feet; thence Southeasterly along the
last mentioned reverse curve through a central
angle of 400 07' 09" an arc distance of 28.01 feet;
thence N 660 22' 46" E, 165.77 feet to an intersec-
tion with the west line of the East 8.23 feet of
Lot 20 in said Tract No. 1691, said point of inter-
section being a point in the west line of that

portion of Hermosa Drive previously abandoned and
described in City Council Resolution No. 78R-6l0
recorded September 21, 1978 in Book 12851, page
1576, records of Orange County; thence S 230 37'
22" E, 50.00 feet to an intersection with the north-
erly line of Lot 34 in said Tract No. 1691; thence
S 660 22' 38" W, 217.31 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave southeasterly and having a
radius of 25 feet; thence Southwesterly and South-
erly along said curve through a central angle of
660 14' 48" an arc distance of 28.91 feet to a
point in the westerly line of Lot 31 in said Tract
No. 1691; thence S 00 07' 58" W, 51.90 feet tan-
gent to the last mentioned curve to an intersection
with the easterly prolongation of the south line
of the aforementioned Lot 26 in said Tract No.
1691; thence N 890 45' 22" W, 50.00 feet along said
prolongation to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the
City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th ay of February, 1980.
