RESOLUTION NO. 80 R-94
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE
COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS ANAHEIM HILLS ANNEXATION
NO. 29.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to annex
into its boundaries certain unincorporated and uninhabited
territory as hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said City desires to extend the full
range of municipal services to said territory in order to
better serve the needs of said property, its owners and
inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, said City desires this resolution to be
deemed a resolution of application proposing a change of
organization pursuant to Sections 35140 and 35110 of the
Government Code of the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That the within proposal is made pursuant to
the Municipal Organization Act of 1977 as set forth in
Title 4, Division 2, Part 2 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
2. That the nature of the proposed change of
organization is for the annexation of the hereinafter
described 22.182 acres of unincorporated and uninhabited terri-
tory to the City of Anaheim.
3. That said unincorporated and uninhabited
terr~tory be, and the same ~s hereby, des~gnated as "Anahe~m
Hills Annexation No. 29" to the City of Anaheim, and the
boundaries of said affected territory are legally described
as follows:
That portion of projected Section 12, Township 4
South, Range 9 West, in the Rancho Santiago de
Santa Ana in the unincorporated territory of the
County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the boundary line
of the City of Anaheim as described in Anaheim
Hills Annexation No. 11 to the City of Anaheim,
said angle point being the Northwesterly terminus

280.50 feet to the Southeasterly prolongation of
that certain course described in said Anaheim Hills
Annexation No. 22 as having a bearing of South 540
35' 00" East and a length of 736.00 feet; thence
North 540 35' 00" West along said Southeasterly
prolongation and said line 503.00 feet to an angle
point in said City of Anaheim boundary as
described in Anaheim Hills Annexation No. 25 to
said City of Anaheim; thence along said City
boundary line the following courses, South 350 25'
00" West, 215.00 feet; South 800 25' 00" West,
70.71 feet; North 540 35' 00" West, 120.00 feet;
North 90 35' 00" West, 99.00 feet; North 350 25'
00" East, 95.00 feet; North 340 12' 42" West,
274.45 feet and North 770 30' 00" West, 383.03
feet to the Southeasterly terminus of that certain
course in said City boundary line described in
said Anaheim Hills Annexation No. 22 as having
a bearing of South 770 30' 00" East and a
length ~f 156.50 feet; thence North 770 30' 00"
West along said boundary line 156.50 feet; thence
leaving said boundary, North 850 40' 47" West,
827.13 feet to the boundary line of the City of
Orange as described in Annexation No. 216 to the
City of Orange; thence along said boundary North
00 43' 51" East, 609.53 feet and North 890 13' 18"
West, 838.25 feet; thence leaving said boundary,
North 650 02' 22" West, 755.21 feet; thence North
880 50' 00" West, 1203.35 feet to the Southeasterly
prolongation of the Southwesterly boundary of said
City of Anaheim as described in Anaheim Hills
Annexation No. 28 to the City of Anaheim; thence
along said Southeasterly prolongation North 170 35'
33" 14est, 60.29 feet to the most Southerly corner
of said boundary per Anaheim Hills Annexation No.
28; thence along the Southeasterly line of said
boundary North 720 24' 27" East, 1441.39 feet to
that certain course in said City boundary line
described in said Anaheim Hills Annexation No. 22
as having a bearing of South 320 27' 43" East and
a length of 1325.53 feet; thence generally Easter-
ly along the Southerly City of Anaheim boundary as
described in said Anaheim Hills Annexation Nos. 22
and 25 to the point of beginning.

A map showing the aforesaid boundaries and designated "Anaheim
Hills No. 29 Annexation" is submitted concurrently with and
accompanies this Resolution.
4. That the reasons for the proposed change of
organization are as follows:
a. Requests by the owners of said
unincorporated territory for annexation to
the City of Anaheim; and
b. To provide full municipal services
to an unincorporated area that is remote from
County service facilities and thereby increase
the economy and efficiency of urban services.
5. That the City of Anaheim is hereby designated
as the chief petitioner with regard to this application and
the mailing address of said petitioner is as follows:

6. That the City of Anaheim does hereby request
that annexation proceedings be taken and commenced for a
change of organization in connection with the hereinabove
described unincorporated territory pursuant to the provisions
of said Municipal Organization Act of 1977.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of
March, 1980.
