A RESOLUTION OF T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING TUL TERMS OF A COMPUTER
LEASE AGREEMENT THTR UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
LIBRARIAN TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
TO CO}~LETE THE TRANSACTION FOR THE LEASE OF
COrWUTER EQUIPMENT FOR THE LIBRARY CIRCULATION
SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has entered into a Lease
and Option Agreement dated June 26, 1979 with United California
Bank for the financing of computer equipment required for its
Library Circulation System; and
WHEREAS, United California Bank has submitted a proposal
dated March 5, 1980 for a lease purchase for additional equipment
for said Circulation System, the terms of which are acceptable
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, a Lease and Option Agreement has been prepared,
the terms of which are satisfactory; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms of said
Lease and Option Agreement for computer equipment required for
the Library Circulation System are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Librarian be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agreement
and other documents necessary to complete the transaction in
connection with the lease of such computer equipment on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of March. 1980.
