RESOLUTION NO. 80R-133
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL
PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 157, EXHIBIT
"B" FOR THE LAND USE ELEMENT AND EXHIBIT "A" FOR
THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommenda-
tions of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, has hereto-
fore adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of February, 1980, the City Plan-
ning Commission did hold a public hearing to consider General Plan
Amendment No. 157, consisting of the following proposed amendments:
AREA I
Amending the Land Use Element designation for
the 47.7 acres located south of the Riverside
Freeway and north of the Santa Ana River between
Glassell Street to the west and Tustin Avenue to
the east.
AREA I I
Amending the Circulation Element for 1) Clementine
Street between Manchester Avenue and Freedman Way,
2) Manchester Avenue between Clementine Street and
Haster Street, and 3) changing the "collector" des-
ignation to "commuter" designation.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning Commis-
sion did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC80-43 containing a report
of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing
and a recommendation that said Amendment to the General Plan desig-
nated as Amendment No. 157 be approved by the City Council in accor-
dance with the recommendations contained in Resolution PC80-43; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendations of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the 1st day of April, 1980
as the time, and the City Council Chambers as the place, for a public
hearing on said proposed Amendment No. 157 and did give notice thereof
in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 157 should be approved in the manner hereinafter set
forth.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 157 to the General Plan
changing the Land Use Element designation for the aforedescribed
Area I in accordance with Exhibit "B", and changing the Circulation
Element for the aforedescribed Area II in accordance with Exhibit
"A", be, and the same is hereby, approved, all in accordance with
Exhibits which are on file with the City Planning Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Planning Department
be, and the same is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan
Map, and said text to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 157 as
herein adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1st day of April,
1980.
