RESOLUTION NO. 80R-166
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A THIRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND SPIEGEL & MC DIARMID, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC UTILITIES GENERAL MANAGER
TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF M1AHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore entered into
an Agreement retaining the services of the law firm of Spiegel &
Me Diarmid on June 12, 1973; and
WHEREAS, due to continuing increases in the costs of
operating its office and maintaining a high quality of legal ser-
vice, Spiegel & McDiarmid have requested an increase in their fees
for legal services; and
WHEREAS, a Third Amendment to Agreement has been pre-
pared, the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory to the
City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOV~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counc il of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a Third
Amendment to Agreement between the City of Anaheim and Spiegel &
McDiarmid be, and they are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public utilities General
Manager is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of t.he City of Anaheim this 15th -lay of April, 1980.
