A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AIiIAEEH1 APPROVING THE 'fERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A SCOREBOARD SPONSOR AGREEMENT WITH TOYOTA
MOTORS, INC. I~ CONNECTION WITH ADVERTISING
OF PRODUCTS Il'J THE ANAHEIM STADIUM, AND AUTH-
ORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is presently engaged in the
refurbishing of a multi-purpose stadium to be used for baseball,
football and other sports, entertainment and public events at
Anaheim, California ("Stadium"), and has the responsibility for
the general management and operation of the said Stadium; and
WHEREAS, City intends to have installed and, upon comple-
tion, operate a new modern, electronic computer scoreboard(s), in-
formational and entertainment display system ("System") in order to
crovide information and entertainment to those in attendance at
such events in said Stadium; and
WHEREAS, City has entered into a contract for the pur-
chase of said scoreboard system from Stewart-Warner, Inc. of
Cnicago, Illinois, which scoreboards and signs ancilliary thereto
will be installed and operating within the next eight (8) months;

WHEREAS, Toyota Motors, Inc. desire to advertise its
coducts in the Stadium and on the System; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City Council of the
C'ity of l\naheim.
Nm'J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of a Scoreboard Sponsor Agreement with Toyota Motors, Inc.
for advertising purposes at the Anaheim Stadium be, and the
ame are hereby, approved.
BE I'r FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
?nd they are hereby, authorized to execute said Scoreboard Sponsor
~greement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
ity Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of April, 1980.
