RESOLUTION NO. 80R-190
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC
STREET AND ALLEY AND FIXING A DATE FOR A
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway
Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment
of public streets located within the City of Anaheim.
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use the following described
portions of a street and alley, to wit:
(a) An irregularly-shaped portion of the northerly
terminus of that portion of Claudina Street,
said portion located approximately 213 feet
north of the centerline of Broadway. and
(b) A triangularly-shaped portion of that certain
public alley located approximately 145 feet
easterly of Anaheim Boulevard and approximately
150 feet southerly of Lincoln Avenue,
as said street and alley are shown on a map or plan on file in
the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon there-
after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the
City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
r1ay 27, 1980
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9t day 0 April, 1980.
