RESOLUTION NO. 80R- 207
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
80R-188 TO EXTEND THE BID DATE FOR THE
LUMINA IRE REPLACEMENT - CENTRAL CITY
NEIGHBORHOOD STRATEGY AREA, ACCOUNT NO.
25-676-6328-11080-37300.
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 29th day of April, 1980,
the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt Resolution
No. 80R-188 finding and determining that public convenience
and necessity required the installation and replacement of
incandescent street lighting luminaires - in Central City
Neighborhood Strategy Area I, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the
City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting sealed
proposals for the above-mentioned public improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has requested a change in
bid date and award date in order to comply with HUD guidelines
for approval of the low bidder on this contract when bids are
received; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to extend the
bid date and award date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 80R-188, approved on the
29th day of April, 1980, be and the same is hereby amended to
the following extent only:
1. That the opening of the bids shall be on
May 22, 1980.
2. That the award of the contract shall be on
June 24, 1980.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as hereinabove
amended, said Resolution No. 80R-188 shall remain in full force
and effect.
