RESOLUTION NO. 80R-212
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM SUPPORTING SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
EDISON COMPANY'S PROPOSED VALLEY-VILLA PARK
TRANSMISSION LINE UPGRADE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim recognizes the need for
electrical power in the Southern California area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is vitally interested in
the availability of electrical power to meet the increasing elec-
trical requirements of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Utilities Department staff has
reviewed the Edison Company's proposal to upgrade their 220 Kv
Valley-Villa Park Transmission Line by modifying the existing
transmission towers and conductors for 500 Kv operation and con-
struction of Serrano Substation (located near the existing Villa
Park Substation) as a 220 Kv distribution point.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that
the City of Anaheim supports Southern California Edison's proposal
to upgrade their Valley-Villa Park Transmission Lines as submitted
to the Public Utilities Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of May, 1980.
