RESOLUTION NO. 80R- 227
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
TO CONDUCT AN AUCTION OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
ON JUNE 7, 1980.
WHEREAS, the unclaimed property set forth on Exhibit
"A," on file in the office of the City Clerk, has been in the
possession of the Police Department for a period in excess of
the time required to be held by law; and
WHEREAS, none of said property has been claimed by
the owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, said property is being sold pursuant to
Anaheim Municipal Code Section 1.12.070 and adopted in accord-
ance with Civil Code Section 2080.4 of the State of California;
and
WHEREAS, the Police Department desires to auction
such unclaimed property that has not been claimed by the owners
thereof prior to the time of sale; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has caused a legal
ootice to be published describing said unclaimed property and
announcing the date, time and place of said auction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Police
Department is authorized to sell to the highest bidder at 9:00
A.M. on June 7, 1980, at the Anaheim Police Department located
at 425 South Harbor Boulevard, all unclaimed property set forth
on Exhibit "A," on file in the Office of the City Clerk, which
has not been claimed by the owners of such property prior to said
auction date.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 20th da of May, 1980.
