RESOLUTION NO. 80R- 236
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAME FOR VIA CABRILLO
TO SCOUT TRAIL
WHEREAS, Via Cabrillo was established as part of
Tract 7769; and
WHEREAS, subsequently, Scout Trail was established
on the south side of Nohl Ranch Road; and
WHEREAS, a branch library is being built in the
vicinity of Scout Trail and Via Cabrillo; and
WHEREAS, the need exists for only one street name
for this new continuous right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City of Anaheim to change the name of
Via Cabrillo to Scout Trail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
that the name for Via Cabrillo be, and the same is hereby,
changed to Scout Trail, and henceforth and hereafter such
street shall be known and designated upon all maps by the
name to which it is hereby changed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of
May, 1980.
