RESOLUTION NO. 80R-240
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND
ABANDON CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET(S) OR ALLEY(S)
AND FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby
elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of
1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway Code) in connection
with requests for vacation and abandonment of public streets located
within the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to vacate,
abandon and close to public use the following described streets(s)
and alley(s), to wit:
That certain public alley, 10 feet wide,
located approximately 120 feet east of
Lemon Street, extending from Sycamore Street
to Alberta Street.
as said street(s) or alley(s) are shown on a map or plan on file
in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in or
objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter
as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall,
204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
June 17, 1980
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27 d y of May, 1980.
