RESOLUTION NO. 80R-244
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A PORTION OF CLAUDINA STREET AND AN
UNNAMED PUBLIC ALLEY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly posted and pUblished, give notice of its in-
tention to vacate and abandon the public street or alley herein
after described; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of May, 1980, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed vacation and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, that the public street or
alley hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for pres-
ent or prospective public street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of a portion of Claudina Street and a portion of an unnamed public
alley, more specifically described as follows:
PARCEL A
That portion of Claudina Street, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
lying within Block B of the Center Tract, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 14, page 13,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
included within the following described parcels:
PARCEL 1: Commencing at the intersection of the
centerline of Claudina Street with the most south-
erly centerline of Broadway, as shown on a map
filed in Book 75, page 36, Record of Surveys in
the Office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County: thence along said centerline of Claudina
Street N 150 27' 01" W, 212.99 feet; thence S 740
32' 59" W, 30.00 feet to a point on a westerly
line of Claudina Street, said point being the true
point of beginning and also being the beginning of
a curve, tangent to said westerly line and concave
easterly having a radius of 35.00 feet; thence
Northeasterly along the arc of said curve through
a central angle of 440 55' 18" an arc distance of
27.44 feet: thence tangent to said curve N 290
28' 17" E, 2.53 feet to the westerly prolongation

of a line bearing S 740 28' 17" W from a point on
said centerline of Claudin~ Street, distant thereon
N 150 27' 01" W, 239.52 feet from the point of com-
mencement described above; thence along said West-
erly prolongation S 740 28' 17" W, 12.01 feet to
the westerly line of Claudina Street; thence along
said westerly line S 150 27' 01" E, 26.50 feet to
the true point of beginning.

the easterly prolongation of said northerly
Excepting therefrom that portion of Claudina Street
lying northerly of the southerly line of Claudina
Street, vacated by Resolution No. 76R-653, of the
City Council of the City of Anaheim recorded
December 1, 1976 in Book 11979, page 1467, Official
Records of said Orange County.
PARCEL B
That portion of the public alley located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
lying within the Resubdivision of the northerly part
of Block A of the Center Tract, as per map recorded
in Book 3, page 22, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, described as follows:
That portion of the 20-foot wide public alley, in-
cluding the angle cut-offs adjoining Lots 9 and 14 of
said Resubdivision, lying southerly of the easterly
prolongation of the northerly line of said Lot 9.
Excepting therefrom any portion included within the
alleys vacated by the following resolutions of the
City Council of the City of Anaheim:
By Resolution No. 78R-179 recorded September 19, 1978
in Book 12847, page 376: by Resolution No. 79R-113 re-
corded March 15, 1979 in Book 13069, page 1798, Official
Records of said Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the
City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
