RESOLUTION NO. 80R- 246
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND CONSENTING TO THE
DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
FROM THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ANNEXATION
OF SAID TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ORANGE,
DESIGNATED AS REORGANIZATION NO. 47.
WHEREAS, the City of Orange has heretofore adopted a reso-
lution of application pursuant to Section 35140 of the Government
Code of the State of California proposing a municipal reorganization
for the detachment of certain uninhabited territory as hereinafter
described from the City of Anaheim and the annexation of said prop-
erty into the boundaries of the City of Orange; and
WHEREAS, said municipal reorganization has heretofore been
designated as "Reorganization No. 47 Transfer from the City of
Anaheim to the City of Orange"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires by this resolution
to evidence its consent to said Reorganization No. 47.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim hereby approves and con-
sents to the resolution of application heretofore made by the City
of Orange to the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County
of Orange, designated as Reorganization No. 47, for the detachment
of the following described uninhabited territory from the City of
Anaheim and the annexation of said territory into the boundaries
of the City of Orange:
Portions of Section 10 and 11, Township 4 South, Range
9 West, Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Parcel 2
Beginning at the Easterly terminus of the line designated
as "South 890 47' West, 5280 feet" in the present bound-
ary line of the City of Anaheim as established by the
"Yorba Annexation" to the City of Anaheim; thence along
said line South 890 56' 46" West 3157.49 feet to a point
On a nontangent curve, concave Southeasterly, having a
radius of 1000.00 feet, a radial line of said curve
through said point bears North 580 50' 32" West; thence
Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of
70 32' 52" an arc distance of 131.73 feet to a point on
the general Southerly boundary line of the land shown on
a map filed in Book 127, Pages 9 through 12 inclusive of

being the Northwesterly terminus of that certain course
in last said boundary line shown as North 400 54' 52"
West, 39.68 feet on said map; thence Southeasterly,
Northeasterly, and Easterly along said general South-
erly boundary line to the Northeasterly terminus of
that certain course in said boundary shown as North 450
05' DO" East, 442.50 feet on said map, said terminus
being on the Southerly line of Lot 60 of Tract No. 9268
as shown on a map recorded in Book 413, Pages 1 through
11 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County; thence South 870 38' 54" East, 111.00
feet along the Southerly line of said Lot 60 to a point
On a non-tangent curve concave Northeasterly, having a
radius of 227.00 feet; said point being the Southeast-
erly corner of said Lot 60, a radial line of said curve
through said point bears North 870 38' 54" West; thence
leaving said general Southerly boundary line, Southerly
and Southeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 590 36' 06" an arc distance of 236.14 feet;
thence South 570 15' 00" East 364.39 feet; thence North
320 45' 00" East 54.00 feet; thence North 590 00' 00"
East 425.12 feet to the most Southerly corner of Lot 54
of said Tract No. 9268; thence Northeasterly and South-
easterly along said general Southerly boundary line of
said Tract to the most Southerly corner of Lot 47 of
said Tract; thence leaving said boundary line South 10
17' 44" West 251.44 feet to the present boundary line
of the City of Anaheim as established by "Anaheim Hills
No. 18 Annexation"; thence along said boundary line
North 390 49' 00" West 131.28 feet to the boundary line
of said "Yorba Annexation"; thence along last said
boundary line South 00 41' 14" West 248.38 feet to the
point of beginning.
A portion of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range 9 West,
Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:

Beginning at the Southeasterly terminus of that certain
course In the present boundary line of the City of Anaheim
as established by "Anaheim Hills No. 26 Annexation" des-
ignated as "South 390 49' 00" East 330.00 feet"; thence
along said boundary line as established by said "Anaheim
Hills No. 26 Annexation" and "Anaheim Hills No. 18
Annexation" North 390 49' 00" West 330.37 feet; thence
leaving said boundary line North 890 47' 40" East 807.09
feet; thence South 170 24' 35" East 53.00 feet to a point
on a non-tangent curve concave Southeasterly, having a

feet to the point of beginning.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3rd day of June, 1980.
