RESOLUTION NO. 80R-252
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 155,

WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of May, 1980, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General
Plan Amendment does consider the following:
1. An amendment to the Circulation Element of the
General Plan; and
2. Establishing the land use designation for the
property consisting of approximately 950 acres
generally located south of the Bauer Ranch, west
of the Wallace and Douglass Ranches, northwest
and north of the Southern California Edison
easement and east of the present Anaheim Hills
Planned Community, in accordance with exhibits
presented to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC80-79 containing
a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented
at said hearing, and a recommendation that said Amendment to
the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 155 be adopted by
the City Council, changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A Amended" and
approving withdrawal of a proposed amendment to the Circulation
Element as set forth in said Resolution PC80-79; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 3rd day of
June, 1980, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
City Hall as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 155 and did give notice thereof in the manner
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct
such public hearing and did give all persons interested
therein an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence
and reports dnd did consider the recommendations of the City
Planning Commission; and

WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that &~endment ~o. 155 changing the land use designation in
the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A Amended"
on file with the City should be approved and the withdrawal of
an amendment to the Circulation Element as recommended by the
Planning Commission in Resolution No. 80-79 should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 155 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area
in accordance with Exhibit "A Amended" on file with the City be,
and the same is hereby, approved, subject to the following
provisions and modifications:
1. That the park site to be shown thereon shall be
remain general in nature.
2. That, within a period of nine months from this
date, the City staff and Anaheim Hills, Inc.
shall confer to establish a specific park site
and specific development and maintenance costs,
and report their recommendation to the City
Council, which report and recommendation shall be
submitted to the City Council prior to the
submission of any tentative tract map on Areas
3, 9 or 10 only, excluding Areas 1 and 2.
3. That a maximum of 2690 residential dwelling units
shall be permitted and approved for said general
plan area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, as a part of said Amendment
~o. 155, that the proposed amendment to the Circulation Element
be, and the same is hereby, withdrawn.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 155, as herein adopted
and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3r day of June, 1980.
