RESOLUTION NO. BOR-264
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
BOR-19B TO EXTEND THE BID DATE FOR THE
CONVENTION CENTER NORTH EXHIBIT HALL
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM UPGRADING,
ACCOUNT NO. 01-262-6325-9510.
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 6th day of May, 19BO,
the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt Resolution
No. BOR-19B finding and determining that public convenience
and necessity required the construction and completion of
the Convention Center North Exhibit Hall Electrical System
Upgrading; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct
the City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting
sealed proposals for the above-mentioned public improvement;
and
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the
City Council that no bids were received for said public improve-
ment due to the inability of the Electrical Contractors to submit
a complete bid package; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to re-advertise
the opening of bids thereon.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. BOR-19B, approved on
the 6th day of May, 19BO, be and the same is her8by amended
to the following extent only:
1. That the opening of the bids shall be on July 10, 19BO;
2. That the Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals shall be
published on June 19th and 26th, 19BO;
3. That the award of the contract shall be on July 22, 19BO.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as hereinabove
amended, said Resolution No. BOR-19B shall remain in full force
and effect.

Council of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of June, 1980.
