A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING CITY PARTICIPATION IN THE
CONSORTIUM CITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY APPLICATION
FOR THE HUD INNOVATIVE GRANT PROGRAM ON ENERGY
CONSERVATION AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
FILE SAID APPLICATION AND RELATED DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the lead agency in
the Consortium of certain Orange County cities, sponsoring
and working cooperatively through the Man in Washington pro-
gram; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment (HUD) has made available funds for major programs in
energy conservation; and
vffiEREAS, the six-member Consortium Cities of Orange
County have collaborated on developing an application requesting
a portion of said funds; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to file a joint
application with the cities of Fullerton, Santa Ana, La Habra,
Garden Grove and Costa Mesa for the purposes herein set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of Anaheim that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, autho-
rized and directed to file a multi-agency application, and
other necessary documents, for Energy Conservation funding.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of
June . 1980.
