RESOLUTION NO. 80R-278
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REQUESTING THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES FROM ORANGE COUNTY STREET LIGHTING
MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS NOS. 4 AND 8 ANn LA JOLLA
HIGHWAY LIGHTING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, property included in Tracts Nos. 2319,
2625, 2737, 3104, 3148, 3177, 3178, and 3247 are presently
included within Orange County Street Lighting Maintenance
District No.4; and property included within Tracts Nos. 3614
and Tract 4181 are presently included in Orange County Street
Lighting Maintenance District No.8; and property described
as follows:
All that certain territory situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, being
a portion of Lot 6 as shown on a map of South Placentia
Tract No.2, recorded in Book 5, Page 12 of Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of said County, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing boundary line of
La Jolla Highway Lighting District as established by
the "Formation" of said district, said point being the
Southeast corner of said Lot 6 of South Placentia Tract
No.2, said southeast corner also being a point in a
line that is parallel with and 30.00 feet Westerly from
the center line of Placentia Avenue;
Thence along said existing boundary line through the
following three courses N. 890 50' 00" W., 278.00 feet,
N. 140 00' 00" E., 1217.72 feet and N. 890 55' 00" E.,
278.30 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 6 said
Northeast corner being a point in said line that is
parallel with and 30.00 feet Westerly from said center
line of Placentia Avenue;
Thence leaving said existing boundary line and along
said parallel line S. 140 00' 00" W., 1218.98 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
The above described parcel contains 7.55 acres, more or
less.
is presently included within the La Jolla Highway Lighting
District, said property hereinafter collectively referred to
as "Tracts;" and

WHEREAS, Tracts by reason of annexation are now
included within the City limits of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is presently serving
electrical power to Tracts and to the street lighting facili-
ties therein, and is the owner of said street lighting
facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Anaheim
that Tracts be excluded from said County Street Lighting
Maintenance Districts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it request, and it does hereby
request the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to
exclude Tracts from the respective Districts in which they
are located.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Board of Super-
visors of the County of Orange be requested, and they are hereby
requested to take the steps necessary to exclude said Tracts
from the respective Districts in which they are located,
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy
of this Resolution be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 24th day of
June, 198D.
