RESOLUTION NO. 80R-286
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING AN APPROPRIATIONS
LIMIT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII B OF THE CALIFORNIA
CONSTITUTION.
WHEREAS, Article XIII B of the Constitution of the State of
California provides that the total annual appropriations subject to
limitation of the state and of each local government shall not
exceed the appropriations limit of such entity of government for
the prior year adjusted for changes in the cost of living and
population except as otherwise provided in said Article XIII B; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Article XIII B of the Constitution
of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to
establish an appropriations limit for the Fiscal Year 1980-1981; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Director of the City of Anaheim has
determined that said appropriations limit for the Fiscal Year 1980-1981
be established in the amount of $59,205,567.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that an appropriations limit for the Fiscal Year
1980-1981 pursuant to Article XIII B of the Constitution of the
State of California be established in the amount of $59,205,567,
and the same is hereby established.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appropriations limit
herein established may be changed as deemed necessary by resolution
of the City Council.
