RESOLUTION NO. SCR-295
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING A SURVEY AREA FOR
REDEVELOPMENT STUDY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore adopt
Redevelopment Survey Area No. 85-2; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires
to expand Survey Area No. 85-2 to include additional properties;
and
WHEREAS, Section 33310 of the Health and Safety Code
provides that the City Council may, by resolution, designate a
survey area for redevelopment purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does resolve as follows:
1. The City Council hereby designates as Redevelopment
Survey Area 85-2A that area shown on the map attached hereto as
Exhibit A and the boundaries of which are described in Exhibit B;
said survey area to consist of all that property in Survey Area
85-2 and that additional area herein.
2. The City Council hereby finds that the designated survey
area requires study to determine if a redevelopment project or
projects within said Survey area are feasible.
3. The Planning Commission is hereby requested to undertake
and complete such study and, in cooperation with the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency, to select a redevelopment project area or
project areas from said Survey Area, and to formulate and adopt a
preliminary plan for each project area selected.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of 1st day of Jul 986.

AREA DESCRIPTION
Establishing the pOint of beginning for this description as the
intersection of West Street and Orangewood Avenue in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California.
Traversing Clockwise around said area, the first direction is North
on West Street, West, and South following the city Limits of Anaheim to
the intersection of the City Limits with Orangewood Avenue. Then West on
Orangewood Avenue, North on Ninth Street, West on Katella Avenue, North
on Tiara Street, East on Sumac Lane, North on Stoneman Street, to the
Southern Pacific Railroad tracks. Then Northeasterly along said tracks
to an alignment with 8ayless Street. Then North on Bayless Street to
Lullaby Lane then East to the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks. Then
North to 8all Road, West on 8all Road, North on Loara Street, East on
Beacon Avenue, North on Gilbuck Drive to a point projected from Elderwood
Avenue. Traveliny East on said mentioned line to the interesection of
Elderwood Avenue and Walnut Street. North on Walnut Street,
Northeasterly along Santa Ana Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad
tracKs. Following along the tracks as they turn Southeasterly to run
down the centerline of Olive Street to Ball Road. East on Ball Road to
the Anaheim City Limits. Traveling Southwesterly along said City Limits,
then Southeasterly, then Southwesterly, then Easterly along the Southern
Pacific Railroad track, then Southwesterly to Katella Avenue. West on
Katella Avenue still following the existing City Limit Lines, then
Southwesterly to the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Easterly, then
leaving said Railroad, Southwesterly along the Westside of the Santa Ana
River followiny said Anaheim City Limits Line, then West, then North,
then West to State College Boulevard. North on State College Boulevard,
West on Orangewood Avenue, Southeasterly on Anaheim Boulevard,
Southwesterly on Anaheim City Limit Line, North on Lewis Street, West on
Simmons, South on Haster Street, again fOllowing the Anaheim City Limits
Line, West, South, then West on Chapman Avenue, North on Harbor
Boulevard, West on Anaheim city Limit Line, North to Orangewood Avenue.
West on Orangewood Avenue to the Point of Beginning at the intersection
of West Street and Orangewood Avenue.
