RESOLUTION NO 86R-422
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, APPROVING THE APPLICATION AND THE
PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION
GRANT FUNDS FOR CARNEGIE LIBRARY REHABILITATION
PROJECT FROM THE CALIFORNIA PARK AND RECREATION
FACILITIES ACT OF 1984
WHEREAS, the Legislature under the California Park and Recreational
Act of 1984 has authorized the establishment of a Historic Preservation Grant
program, providing matching funds to the political subdivisions of the State
for historic preservation projects; and
WHEREAS, the California Office of Historic Preservation in the
Department of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by
resolution the approval of applications and the availability of local matching
funds prior to submission of said applications to the State;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim hereby:
1. Approved the filing of an application for the Historic
Preservation Grant assistance for project; and
2. Appoints the City Manager or his/her authorized deputy as agent
of the City to coordinate, process, and execute all contracts, agreements,
amendments and ancillary documents within the scope of the attached
application; and
3. Agrees that all required local matching funds will be provided
for the project.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted this 23rd
day of September , 1986.
