RESOLUTION NO. 86R-450
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND ANAHEIM
FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION LOCAL NO. 2899
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1984, the City Council approved Resolution
84R-32l adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim and
the Anaheim Firefighters Association, Local No. 2899 and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Firefighters
Association, Local No. 2899 to discuss specific concerns relative to amending
Article 43, Travel and Mileage Reimbursement.
WHEREAS, an Agreement dated September 25, 1986 between the parties
has been prepared and signed amending provisions of the current Memorandum of
Understanding effective October 1, 1986.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of said Agreement is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Agreement dated September 25, 1986, between the City of
Anaheim and Anaheim Firefighters Association, Local No. 2899 is hereby
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City ()f Anaheim this 7th date October 1-986.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND
ANAHEIM FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION
The City of ANAHEIM, hereinafter referred to as the "City", and
the Anaheim Firefighters Association, Local 2899, hereinafter
referred to as nAFA", have reached the following agreement:
Amend the Memorandum of Understanding to read:
43.1 ANAHEIM'S mileage reimbursement rate will be the
standard mileage rate established by the Internal Revenue
Service.
43.2 Any increase or decrease shall be effective the
first day of the second month after the date of the
publication by the Internal Revenue Service.
