A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT ~R~NT nF.~
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN R AI.
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pu~poses, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
ARTHUR L. PRESCOTT, a sinqle man, and CLARICE P. PRESCOTT,
a married woman, as her sole and separate property
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 32 feet, as measured at
right angles to the centerline of Loara Street, of
that parcel of land described as follows:
The North 120.00 feet of the South 554.00 feet of the
West half of the West half of the Northeast quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas, as per Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
