'. -. .....~' .. 69R-558 '---~---,,_., A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANMIEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed- ings No. 69-70-12 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the ^naheim 11unicipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro- posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 7th day of October , 19 69 as the time, and the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in ,,,,hich it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there- of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor- tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings and recommendation; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should be excluded from the zone or zon~s in which it is now situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEllliFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County ~~ n~_~__ ~~_~_ _~ _ ,-_ That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, established as the Northeast corner of the Warner-Lambert Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 2427, October 3, 1967, filed with the Secretary of State November 9, 1967, and recorded November 14, 1967 in Official Records of Orange County, California, said North- east corner and point of beginning being distant from the centerline intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Orchard Way (formerly known as Orchard Drive) the following courses and distances: South 30 261 00" West 75.84 feet, North 780 001 36~ West 20.22 feet, said centerline intersection is shown on a Map of Tract No. 4181, recorded in Book 156, pages 21, 22 and 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California thence North 780 DO' 36" West 1,278.45 feet, following along the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, said City limit line being a portion of the Southerly right of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, as said right of way line is shown on a Record of Survey Map filed in Book 37, page 25 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, to an intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the Easterly line of Tract No. 4926, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 179, pages 13 and 14 of ~1iscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim and following along said Southerly prolongation and the Easterly line of said Tract No. 4926, North 40 03' 3D" East 1,147.34 feet, to the Northeast corner of said Tract, said Northeast corner of Tract No. 4926 also being a point in the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by the Orchard Drive Annexation to the City of Anaheim passed by Ordinance No. 2595, November 6, 1968, filed with the Secretary of State December 9, 1968 and recorded December 11, 1968, in Official Records of Orange County, California, thence Following along a portion of the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by said Orchard Drive Annexation the following courses and distances: South 810 231 30" East 594.50 feet, South 770 30' DO" East 20.00 feet, North 110 551 DO" East 20.00 feet to the Southwest corner of the Esperanza High School Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed-by Orange County Board of Supervisors by Resolution No. 67-372 April l2, 1967, filed with the Secretary of State May 5, 1967, said Southwest corner being distant from the centerline intersection of Orchard Drive with the East West Orchard Drive, now known as Woodwind Lane, as said inter- section is shown on a Map of Survey filed in Book 7, page 12 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, the following courses and dis- tances: South 770 3D' 00'; thence Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by said Esperanza High School Annexation and following along a portion of the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by the said Yorba Annexa- tion the following courses and distances: South 790 37' DO" East 310.00 feet, more or less, South 30 26' 10" West 20.00 feet, more or less, South 830 III 38" East 20.00 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of Tract No. 4181, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 156, pages 21, 22 and 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; said Northwest corner of Lot 1 of said Tract 4181 being a point in a line parallel with and 40 feet Easterly of the centerline of Orchard Way, formerly known as Orchard Drive, as said centerline is shown on the Map of said Tract No. 4181;
