A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIH FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
\AJHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a publi.c hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 69-70-9 to consider an amendment to
Ti tle 12 or the l.naheim I'1unicipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter ffi(:ntioneu au} described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 7th day
of October , 19 69 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
\'JHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and reco~~endation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forti1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim ~~unicipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the follmving
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim. County
PARCEL I.
That certain parcel of land located in the County of Orange,
State of California, being a portion of Lot One, Block K
of the Kraemer Tract, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, as shown on a Iiap recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88
of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
also being that parcel of land described as Parcel No. One
in the Final Order of Condemnation -to the City of Anaheim
recorded January 25, 1962 in BOOK 5988, pages 618 through
621, inclusive, of Official Records of Orange County,
California, describea as follows:
8eginning at a point in tile existing City Limi.t line of the
City of Anaheim, as establisned by the Northeast No. 2-A
Annexa.tion to the City of Anai]eim, passed by Ordinance 1269,
August 12, 1~58, filed with the Secretary of State September
12, 1958, said point of beginning being at the Northwest
corner of the South 424.64 feet of Lot 42 of Hazard's Sub-
division, as shoT;;'I1 on a ?lan of Survey filed in Book 1, page
26 of record of Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, California, said point of beginning being
distant from the centerline intersection of Anaheim Road
(nmv knovm as !'1iraloma Avenue) and;liller Street, as said
intersection is shown on a Map of Survey filed in Book 52,
page 37 of Record of Surveys in the Office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County, California, the following
courses and distances:; ~'Jorth 730 06' 21" East 2,320.13 feet,
North 40 00' 30" vvest 227.52 feet; thence South 40 00' 30"
East 2.88 feet, follo"ing along a .oortion of the existing
City limit line of the City of ,Anaheim, as established by
said Northeast No. 2-A Annexation, being a portion of the
West line of the South 424.64 feet of Lot 42 of said Hazard's
Subdivision. to the Southeast corner of the parcel of land
described in Parcel 1 in the Final Order of Condemnation to
the City of Anaheim, recorded January 25, 1962 in Book 5988,
pages 618 through 621, inclusive, of Official Records of
Orange County: California; thence
Leaving the said existing City Limit line of the City of
Anaheim and following along the Southerly line, the V"Vesterly
line, the Northerly line and the Easterly line of the land
described iD said Parcel No. 1 in the last mentioned final
order of condemnation to the City of Anaheim, the following
courses and distances; South 730 30' 00" livest 269.84 feet
to the Southwest corDer of said parcel, thence North 160 29'

now is COUNTY A-I, GENERAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
cilanged to and incorporated in CITY OF M~AHEIM M-l, LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL ZONE.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the
City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim Munici-
pal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and determined to
be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
