RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 517
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR WATER METER AND
WATER VAULT PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
water meter and water vault purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT E. ANDERSON and
VALJEAN A. ANDERSON, husband and wife; and MAURICE I. MYERS and
HELEN A. MYERS. husband and wife: and HARRY BOAND, JR. and
CATHERINE JANE BOAND, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
water meter and water v~ult purposes
, and more partlcularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of a water
meter, meter vault and appurtenances over and under that portion
of the South 160 feet of the North 5.258 acres of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of the land conveyed to
Robert E. Anderson et al by deed recorded May 1, 1969 in Book
8944, page 288 of Official Records of said County, distant 43
feet South of the Northwest corner of said land; thence South
along said West line, 25 feet; thence East at right angles,
10 feet; thence North at right angles, 25 feet; thence West
10 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
