RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 414
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITY AND
SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for public utility
and sanitary sewer purposes; and -
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
DISTRICT OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH - MISSOURI SYNOD to sell to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for easements for public utility and sanitary sewer
purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for public utility purposes,
including a sanitary sewer easement over, under and
across the Northerly 15.00 feet of that portion of
Sections 1 and 2, Township 4 South, Range 9 West,
as shown on a Map of the Partition of the Rancho Santiago
de Santa Ana, which was entered September 12, 1868, in
Book B, page 410 of Judgments of the District Court
of the 17th Judicial District in and for Los Angeles
County, California, and including a portion of the
Eduardo polloreno Allotment in said partition, and
that portion of Lot 2 of the Dominguez Estate, as
shown on a Map filed in Book 4, page 15 of Record
of Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder of
said Orange County described as follows:
Beginning at the common corner of Sections 1, 2, 11
and 12, Township 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. & M.;
thence North 890 37' 52" East along the Southerly
line of the land described in Parcel 1 of the deed
to Lawrence A. Muckenthaler and wife, recorded March
29, 1949 in Book 1821, page 539 of Official Records,
281.32 feet to the Southeast corner of said Parcell;
thence North 00 22' 08" West along the Easterly line
of said Parcell a distance of 1193.57 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence South 890 37' 52"
West parallel with said Southerly line 349.13 feet
to a point in a non-tangent curve concave Westerly
having a radius of 400.00 feet, a radial line through
said point bears South 580 29' 48" East; thence
Northerly along said curve through a central angle
of 310 52' 20" an arc distance of 222.51 feet to
a line tangent; thence North 00 22' 08" West parallel
with said Easterly line along said line tangent 488.09
feet to a point in the Southerly boundary of Santa
Ana Canyon Road as described in deed to the State of
California by deed recorded July 2, 1948 in Book

56' 30" East along said South line of Santa Ana
Canyon Road 300.00 feet to a point in said Easterly
line of Parcell; thence South 00 22' 08" East along
said Easterly line 780.43 feet to the true point of
beginning.
PARCEL TWO: A temporary construction easement over
and across a strip of land 15.00 feet in width, the
Northerly line of said strip being the Southerly line
of the above-described Parcel One. Said temporary
easement to terminate upon the completion of the
installation of a sewer line.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of July , 1969.
