RESOLUTION NO. 6 9R- 404
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of KENNETH W. HOLT and
HELEN L. HOLT, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
easements for road and public utility purposes, and more parti-
cularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility
purposes oyer, under and across the Easterly 30 feet
as measured at right angles to the centerline of
Citron Street, of that parcel of land 43 feet in width,
being a portion of Burkle's Subdivision, recorded
in Book 1, page 36 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, described as follows:
A strip of land 43 feet in width, the Southerly line
of which begins at a point on the Easterly line of
Lot 6, said Burkle's Subdivision, 183 feet Southerly from
the Northeasterly corner of Lot 1, said Burkle's
Subdivision; thence Westerly parallel to the Northerly
line of said Lot 1 and its Westerly prolongation to
a point on the Easterly line of Ohio Street, as
shown on a Map of West Broadway Tract, recorded in
Book 4, page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County.
For the purpose of this description, the centerline
of Citron StrGet is assumed to be the Easterly boun-
dary of said Lot 6, said Burkle's Subdivision.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across that portion of Lot 6
of the Burkle's Subdivision, recorded in Book 1, page
36 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Lincoln
Avenue and Citron Street; thence South 150 30' 00"
East along the said centerline of Citron Street 207.75

feet to the true point of beginning; thence South
740 30' DO" West 30 feet; thence South 150 30' DO"
East 165 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 15 feet;
thence Southeasterly, Southerly and Southwesterly along
said curve through a central angle of 90 degrees, an
arc distance of 23.56 feet to an intersection with
the Northerly right of way line of Chestnut Street;
thence North 740 30' 00" East 45 feet to an inter-
section with the centerline of said Citron Street; thence
North 150 30' 00" West along the centerline of said
Citron Street 180 feet to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
