A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR &~ EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and

WHEREAS, the ownerL- of said property ha~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
Nrnv, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
GLEN A. BURCHETT and BONNIE BURCHETT,
MELVIN R. SCHANTZ and MERRIAM E. SCHANTZ,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public uti1i~ purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 53 feet, as measured at
right angles to the centerline of State College Boulevard,
and the Northerly 32 feet, as measured at right angles to
the centerline of South Street, of that portion of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of the North-
west quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of land described in deed
to Mae Hunton recorded April 10, 1950 in Book 1996, page
192 of Official Records, said point being in the West line
of said Section 13, and distant Southerly 178.00 feet from
the Northwest corner of said Section 13; thence South 890
51' 20" East 330.00 feet to the Southeast corner of said land
of Mae Hunton; thence North 00 051 30" East 178.00 feet to
the Northeast corner of said land of Mae Hunton; thence
South 890 51' 20" East 13.25 feet along the North line of
said Section 13 to the Northwest corner of land described
in deed to C. Richard Geilus and wife, recorded May 3, 1951
in Book 2183, page 539 of Official Records; thence South
00 05' 30 I, West 368.02 feet along the Westerly line of said
land of C. Richard Geilus to the Northeast corner of land
described in deed to William J. Vetter and wife, recorded
December 4, 1951 in Book 2260, page 142 of Official Records;
thence North 890 511 20" West 343.24 feet along the North
line of said land of William J. Vetter to the West line of
Section 13; thence North 00 OS' 30" East 190.27 feet to the
point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
