A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING VARIANCE NO 2019
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commlssion of the City of
Anaheim did recelve a petitlon for zoning variance from
_Katella Associate~wner
of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
C1f Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The West 240.00 feet of that portion of tne Southeast
quarter of tne Southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon ae Santa Ana, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
book 51 page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the county recorder of said county, lying East of
the East line of the West 1.00 acre of said southeast
quarter of tne southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter.
EXCEPT from saia ~~est 240.00 feet that portion lying
within the Nortn 10.00 feet of the East 60.00 feet
of the west 336.00 feet of said southeast quarter of
the southwest quarter of tne southeast quarter.
AND WHEREAS, the Clty Planning Commission did hold a
p'1blLc hearing at the City Hall l.n the City of Anaheim upon said
petl tion on October 7, 19b8 , notice of which said public

hear :mg was duly gl ven as required by law and the provislons of
Title 18. Chapter 18,16 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, sald City Planning Commission, after due
.nspection, investigatlon and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due conslderatlon of all evidence and reports
offered at saId hearing, dld adopt Resolution No. PC68-299
recommending that VarIance No 2019 be denied

WHEREAS, thereafter. wIthin twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was
flIed wIth the Clty Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the
c.F:t lon of the Ci ty Planning Commission denying said variance,
and saId appeal was set for public hearing on October 22,
;968 . at 1:30 o'"::lock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of
Anaheimf and notlce of such public hearing was duly given as
required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18076 of
t.he Anaheim Municlpal Code; and

vaLion and enjoyment of a substantial property
r~ght possessed by other property in the same
VICInIty and zone and denied to the property in
question
3. That the granting of such variance will not be
materIally detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to the property or improvements in such
vIcinity and ~one in which the property is located.
1. That the granting of such variance will not adversely
affect the comprehensIve general zoning plan.

stanaing sign, on tne property ilereinbefore described, in
accordance with C-l standards, subject to the following
condition:
That a IS-foot setbacK from the curb be prov~aea,
plus an additional 2-foot setback from the property
line.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
sucn variance permit for good cause or failure of said owner
successors or assigns, to comply wi tn the Anaheim r'1unicipal Code
anct regulations and the condition herein. Said variance is
qranted for the term prescribed by b1e Anaheim .i'1unicipal Code
unless otnerwise specified nerein.
