A RESOLU'l'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'l'Y
OF ANAHEHl DENYING Vl\RIANCE NO. 2011
\JHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from
"illiam Calvin Burch anci Pllyllis A. Burch, owners
of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot No. 50 of Tract No. 1931, as shown on a
map recorded in Book ..)4 pages 9, 10 and 11
of r.1iscellaneous I.laps, Records of Orange
County, California.
P<..ND ~vHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
~epternber 11 , 19 68 , notice of which said public hearing
was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title
:8, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission after due
Inspection, investigation and studies ~ade by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. PC68-270 granting
variance No. 2011, subject to the conditions therein set forth
and
\VHEREAS, thereafter wi thin twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council
dld elect, upon its own motion, to review the action taken by the
city Planning Commission in qrantinq said variance and did
set a public hearing thereon to be held on the 22nd day of
OctoDer , 19 68 , at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the city Hall in
the"city of Anaheii1l,""and notice of such public hearing was duly
q_ven as required by law and the provislons of Title 18, Chapter
lB.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and

WHhREAS, the City council does find that:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning
Commission granting Variance No. 2011 be, and the same is hereby
disapproved, and that the petition for a zoning variance permitting
tne keeping of exotic, nonpoisonous reptiles on the property here-
inDefore described, be, and the same is hereby denied.
THh FOHEGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
