1968-626 RESOLUTION NO, 68R-626 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CER- TAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ana- heim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones herein- after mentioned and described, and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by for- mal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Title 18 of the Ana- heim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the l7th day of seQ~mber, 19~, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Ha 1 of ~he City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con- sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zon~ in which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as here- inafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated, and that a change of zone should not be granted. NOW 9 THEREFORE) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit~ PARCEL 1: South 1l5.00 feet of Lot 6 of the Kellogg Homestead Tract, as shown onta map thereof recorded in book 8, page 5l, Miscellaneous Maps records of said Orange County. PARCEL 2: North 1l5.00 feet of the South 230 feet of Lot 6 of the Kellogg Homestead Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 8, page 51, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. -1- - ~,) - ~ - . PARCEL 3: That portion of Lot 6 of the Kellogg Homestead Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 8, page 5l, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West line of said lot, distant thereon South 00 55' 23" West 395.00 feet from the Northwest corner thereof, saiQ Northwest corner being in the center line of the street, 60.00 feet in width, now known as Ball Road, adjoining said lot on the North, and running thence South 890 40' East parallel with the North line of said lot, 249.40 feet to a line parallel with and 200.00 feet Westerly of the East line of said lot, said East line being the center line of the street, 40.00 feet in width, now known as Nutwood Avenue, adjoining said lot on the East; thence South 10 07' 4011 West, parallel with said East line 85.00 feet to a line parallel with and 450.00 feet Southerly of the North line of said lot; thence South 890 40' East along said parallel line, 200.00 feet to said East line, thence South 10 07' 30" West along said East line, 101.89 feet to a line parallel with and 230.00 feet North of the South line of said lot; thence Westerly, parallel with said South line, to the West line of said lot; thence North 00 55' 23" East along said West line, 186.20 feet to the point of beginning. remain in R-A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now incorporated, and that the reclassification to R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, as recommended by the City Planning Commission in its Resolution No. PC68-246, be denied without prejudice.
