RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 622
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF UTILITIES AGREEMENT
NO. 7Ut-3906 WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
FOR RELOCATION AND ENCASEMENT OF CERTAIN
UTILITY FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE RIVERSIDE FREEWAY
(ROAD 07-0ra-91 9.2/13.9).
~iEREAS, construction of the Riverside Freeway, Road
07-0ra-9l 9.2/13.9, requires the relocation of an existing
sanitary sewer between Station 174+00 and Station 186, also
encasement of an existing sewer near Station 153+00, and adjust-
ment of sewer manhole to grade in proposed Riverdale Avenue
(Route 55/91 Interchange to Riverside County Line); and
WHEREAS, the cost of said work is to be borne by the
State, because certain recorded easements establish the City's
prior rights; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, has submitted to the City Council
Utilities Agreement No 7Ut-3906 to be made and entered into by
and between the City and the State for relocating existing
sanitary sewer between Station 174+00 and Station 186, also
encasing existing sewer near Station 153+00 and adjusting sewer
manhole to grade in proposed Riverdale Avenue (Route 55/91
Interchange to Riverside County Line), at an estimated cost to
the State of $43,500.00, upon the terms and conditions and in
accordance with the procedure set forth in said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and best interest of the City to enter into said
agreement with the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Utilities Agreement No. 7Ut-3906
this day submitted to the City Council by the State of Cali-
fornia, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, to
be made and entered into by and between the City and the State
for relocating existing sanitary sewer between Station 174+00
and Station 186, also encasing existing sewer near Station 153+00
and adjusting sewer manhole to grade in proposed Riverdale Avenue
(Route S5/91 Interchange to Riverside County Line), at an
estimated cost to the State of $43,500.00, upon the terms and
conditions and in accordance with the procedure set forth in
said agreement, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 8th day of October, 1968.
