A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT 'rI'l'LE 18 OF THE ANAHEHl MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT TliE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHI:;REAS, tne City Planning Corrunission of the City of
hnahe~m dld hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 68-69-19 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anahe[m Hunicipal Code relating to zoning, and
~o conslder a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
Icreinafter mentioned and described, ana at said hearing did
teceive evidence anu reports from persons interested therein

WHl:;REAS, w1.tilin a perlod of forty days following said
;ear~ng the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
.;onta~ning a report of its findings, a surrunary of the evidence
~resented at said hear lng, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopteu by the City Council and that a
~ertain zone or zones ue changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, u.pon receipt of said resolution, summary of
viaence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
....anning Commisslon the city Council did fix the 8th day
f October I 19 68 as the time, and the City Council

or a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
)f the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
)roperty, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in

one or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
f in the manner anu form as provided in said Title 18 of the
!waheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at tne t~me and place fixed for said public
::earlng tne City Councll dld hold and conduct such public
~ear~ng and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
=unity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
:.ad thereupon consider the surrunary of evidence presented at
;ald public hearlng before the Planning Commission, its report
f findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, ~he City Council does find and determine
:...nat the amendment to 'I'i tIe 18 of the Anaheim Hunicipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
Nm'i, THEREFORE, HE I'!, RESOLVED by the City Council
f the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
..:oc.le be, and the SaITIe is hereby; amended and that the following

Lot No. 24 of Tract No. 796, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 24, Page 28, Miscellaneous
Maps, Recoras of Orange County, California.
be excluded from R-A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and incorporated in
R-l, ONE-FA!1ILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property shall deed
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 32 feet
in width from the center line of the street,
along Orange Avenue, including a l5-foot radius
corner return, for street widening purposes.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of lSC;: per front foot,
along Orange Avenue and Bruce Street for tree
planting purposes.
3. That a parcel map to record the approved division
of subject property shall be submitted to the
City of Anaheim for approval and then recorded in
the Office of the Orange County Recorder.
4. That the owner of sUDject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit,
to be used for park and recreation purposes, said
amount to be paid at the time the building permit
is issued.
5. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 3, above mentioned,
shall be complied with within a period of 180
days from date hereof, or such further time as
the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
Qe is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
~unicipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
'.'lined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING P~SOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 8th day of October, 1968.
