A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIN ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, tile owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of H. E. BALMER and
MARJORIE J. BALMER, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across all that portion of the Southwest quarter of Sec-
tion 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, conveyed to H. E. Balmer et ux, by
deed recorded September 24, 1964, in Book 7231, page 506 of
Official Records, that is included within the following des-
cribed parcel:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the land described in
the deed to the City of Anaheim recorded December 20, 1965,
in Book 7779, page 669 of Official Records of said County;
thence North 890 45' 10" East along the Easterly prolongation
of the Northerly line of said land, 9.00 feet; thence North
00 14' 50" West, 745.86 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve, concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 830 feet;
thence Northwesterly along said curve, through a central angle
of 220 31' 11", an arc distance of 326.23 feet; thence tangent
to said curve, North 230 46' 01" West, 397.71 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve, concave Easterly and having a
radius of 50 feet; thence Northerly along said curve, through
a central angle of 360 52' 1111, an arc distance of 32.17 feet
to the beginning of a reverse curve, concave Southerly and
having a radius of 50 feet; thence Northerly, Westerly and
Southerly along said curve, through a central angle of 2530
44' 22", an arc distance of 221.43 feet to the beginning of a
reverse curve, concave Westerly and having a radius of 50 feet;
thence Southerly along said curve, through a central angle of
360 52' 11", an arc distance of 32.17 feet; thence tangent to
said last-mentioned curve, South 230 46' 01" East, 397.71 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 770 feet; thence Southeasterly along said
curve through a central angle of 220 31' 11", an arc distance
of 302.64 feet; thence tangent to said curve, South 00 14' 50"
East, 745.86 feet to the Northwest corner of the land
