RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 587
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETE&~INING
THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN
MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM KNOWN AND DESIG-
NATED AS S}lliTA ANA CANYON ANNEXATION NG. 2.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 6th day of August , 19 68 , receive a written
petltionask[ng that certain territory described in said peti-
tlon be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution No.
68R-490 , designating the said proposed annexation as Santa Ana
Canyon Annexation No.2 and
WHEREAS, the City Council dld fix the 24Th day of
September , 19~, at the hour of 1:30 P.M., at the City
Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the
day, hour and place when and where the City Council would hear
protests made by the owner or owners of any real property within
the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published by the
City Clerk in accordance with the requirements of law; and

WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the 24th
September ,19~, and on said date said hearing was
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does find and declare that a majority protest was not made
at said hearing.
