RESOLUTION NO.
68R- 5R6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A MAJORITY
PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM KNOWN. AND DESIGNATED AS
LA PALMA-MIRALOMA ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 30th day of July, 1968, receive a written petition
asking that certain territory described in said petition be
annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution No.
68R-474, designating the said proposed annexation as La
Palma-Miraloma Annexation; and
WHEREAS, the City CouncilQd fix the 24th day of
September, 1968, at the hour of 1:30 P.M., at the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the day,
hour and place when and where the City Council would hear
protests made by the owner of owners of any real property within
the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published by the
City Clerkin accordance with the requirements of law; and
WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the 24th
day of September, 1968, and on said date said hearing was closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does find and declare that a majority protest was not made at said
hearing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of September, 1968.
