RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ,
CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE TO CONSOLIDATE
THE BOND ELECTIONS OF SA ID CITY TO
BE HELD NOVEMBER 5 , 1968 ,
WITH STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON SAME DATE.
WHEREAS, this City Council has commenced proceed-
ings for the calling of a bond electio~in the city to be
held on
November 5 , 1968 ; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that said bond elections
be consolidated with the statewide general election to be
held on the same date and that within the city the precincts,
polling places and election officers for the two elections
be the same, and that the Board of Supervisors canvass the
returns of the city bond elections and that said statewide
election and said city bond elections be held in all respects
as if there were only one election;

AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That the Board of Supervisors of the

To acquire, construct and finance additions to and
improvements of the works of the City for supplying the City
and its inhabitants with electric energy, shall the City of
Anaheim issue electric revenue bonds in the principal amount
of eight million six hundred fifty thousand dollars?

PROPOSITION
To acquire, construct and finance additions to and
improvements of the works of the City for supplying the
City and its inhabitants with water, shall the City of
Anaheim issue water revenue bonds in the principal amount

(STORM DRAIN BONDS)
To acquire and construct storm drains with appurtenances
and appurtenant works, shall the City of Anaheim incur a bonded
indebtedness in the principal amount of four million five
hundred thousand dollars?

(PARK BONDS)
For the acquisition of land for park sites and the acquisi-
tion and construction of park improvements and public recreational
facilities, shall the City of Anaheim incur a bonded indebtedness
in the principal amount of four million dollars?

For the acquisition and construction of two branch public
libraries and additions and improvements to the existing branch
public library, including the planting and landscaping of the
library grounds, provision for vehicle parking, initial book
stock, furniture, fixtures, equipment and other property necessary

Section 10231 of the Elections Code.
Section 3. That said Board of Supervisors is here-
by authorized to canvass the returns of said city bond elections
and that said bond elections and said statewide election shall be
held in all respects as if there were only one election, and
only one form of ballot shall be used.
Section 4. That said Board of Supervisors is hereby
requested to issue to all officers of said county charged with
duties pertaining to said statewide election instructions to
take any and all steps necessary for the holding of said con-
solldated election.
Section 5. That the City Clerk of said city is here-
by directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with
the Board of Supervisors of said county and with the County Clerk
of said County.
