RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 522
A RESOLUTION OF THE Crry COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEHl ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE AND
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for drainage and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SIERRA DOWNS. INC.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for drainage
and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for drainage and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 55, Tract No. 5990,
as per Map recorded in Book 237, pages 31 and 32 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, and that
portion of that certain 57-acre tract of first class land
marked "Ramona De La Guerra" on a Map showing partition of
the M. Yorba Estate, filed in Book 1, page 27 of Record of
Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of said Lot 55;
thence along the Northwesterly line thereof, North 580 19'
33" East 10.45 feet; thence parallel to and 10.00 feet from
the Westerly line of said Lot 55, South 140 50' 50" East
105.26 feet to a point on the Southeasterly line of said
Lot 55 and the Northwesterly line of G1enview Avenue which
falls on a curve concave Southeasterly whose radius is
585.00 feet and whose radial to said point bears North 340
35' 22" West; thence along the Northwesterly line of said
Glenview Avenue Southwesterly 10.66 feet along the arc of
said curve throu*h a central angle of 010 02' 39"; thence
North 140 50' 50 West 105.93 feet, along the Westerly line
of said Lot 55 and its Southerly prolongation, to the point
of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($l.OO).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
