RESOLUTION NO. 68R-476
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF M~AHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6832 GRANT-
ING VARIANCE NO. 1344.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
April 25, 1961, adopt Resolution No. 6832 granting Variance
No. 1344 to Eve D. Diggins, permitting the use of one room of
the single-family residence situated on the property therein
described for the operation of a beauty shop for a period of
six months from the date thereof, subject to certain conditions
set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, numerous one and two-year extensions of the
term of said variance have been granted by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the petitioner for said zoning variance
has again requested an extension of the term of said variance;
and
WHEREAS, after a thorough investigation of the matter,
the Development Services Department has recommended to the City
Council that the term of said variance be extended for an
additional two years, or until such time as the property is
sold, whichever occurs first; and
WHEREAS, upon consideration of the report and recom-
mendation of the Development Services Department, the City
Council does find that said request should be granted and that
the term of said variance should be extended for a period of two
years from date hereof, or until such time as the property is
sold, whichever occurs first, as recommended by the Development
Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 6832 granting Variance
No. 1344 be, and the same is hereby amended by extending the
term of said variance for a period of two years from date hereof,
or until such time as the property described in said resolution
is sold, whichever occurs first.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of August, 1968.
