RESOLUTION NO. 6 8R - 464
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT DEED BY THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM IN FAVOR OF THE COUNTY
OF ORANGE IN CONNECTION WITH COUNTY
IMPROVEMENT OF LINDA VISTA STREET.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange is in the process of
improving Linda Vista Street from Orangethorpe Avenue
southerly to Miraloma Avenue, and, in connection therewith,
requires right of way for street purposes over two parcels
of land owned by the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has requested that the
City of Anaheim make voluntary dedic;i.tion of such right of way
with the County agreeing to the replacement of driveways and
the relocation of certain fences and gates; and
WHE1~AS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City of Anaheim to cooperate with the
County of Orange to the extent of making the requested
voluntary dedication; and
WHEREAS, all interested City Departments have been
heretofore advised of the proposed easement and have not
objected to the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it authorize and direct, and it does
hereby authorize and direct, the Mayor and the City Clerk to
execute an easement deed in favor of the County of Orange
covering the easement necessary for right of Way on Miraloma
Avenue as the same has been duly prepared by the Right of Way
Department of the City.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easement deed,
when executed, be turned over to the City of Anaheim Right of
Way Department for delivery to the Department of Real Property
Services of the County of Orange.
